The Consumer Price Index for July 2025
Mr. Poonpong Naiyanapakorn, the Director General of the Trade Policy and Strategy Office (TPSO) and the Spokesman of the Ministry of Commerce, revealed that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in July 2025 was 100.15. Comparing to July 2024 (100.86), the headline inflation decreased by 0.70% (YoY). The main factors came from the continuously falling prices of fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, and personal care items. Furthermore, the prices of energy also decreased, including fuel following the global oil prices and electricity influenced by and government measures. Other goods and services did not have a significant impact on inflation.
